Well guys yesterday was my worst ever technology wise; i killed my teachers personal laminating machine (buriel by bin today) and nothing i did in college saved so i looked like a complete muppet, when everybody except me seemed quite capable of avoiding that computer blackhole things disappear into!! my new tv i bought for my bedroom about a week ago had to go back as the screen kept going red and if thats not enough my computer at home is on a mega go slow.
My husband reckons i have too much electricity running through me making me a danger to the wellbeing of all things electrical.
Today in school we used the interactive white board and the class lap tops (3) for recount writing the children love using the board and the UN would have been hard pushed to stop the kids fighting over who could use the lap tops!

over and out!

ICT here I come!

Well had another ICT session in college today and strangely enough I quite enjoyed it. A huge plus from today is that I have an idea I think of what im supposed to be doing(please dont laugh). So my mission is to infiltrate the ICT department and find out exactly what it is they do other than ctrl, alt & del, and evaluate how we utilise ICT in our school.
One new and in my opinion exciting development is EPals. Pupils in Yr6 now have a personal email account within EPals and can email classmates in school or at home which in itself is great however each child also has an EPal in a school in Atlanta, USA. This can only be done in school but the kids love it and the ICT suite is packed out every break and lunchtime with girls and boys avidly emailing each other and their american pals!
Call back soon for more exciting ICT news from the world of primary education!
